About event
Where the joy of free movement and adventure intertwines with the feeling of isolation. Where an old chestnut tree grows and the life of a little girl who was named Zelinka by her grandmother revolves around it.
We invite you to the book presentation and the author's evening of Jana Wernerová Kolotočárek on Monday, April 27. from 18:00 to Košice Artfor on Hlavná ul. 87
The debate is moderated by Mária Klapáková.
They have their barn under the chestnut tree, in which they live, and a shooting range in an old maringotka, which is their livelihood.
A story about life on wheels, where the slamming of doors shakes the whole rickety house, about a life that smells of faraway places, colorful goods and crepe roses paper.
Kolotočárka is not only a book about growing up in a carousel maringota, but also a deep statement about solidarity, hope and the stubborn desire to find one's place in the world.
