About event
Another reggae event we are preparing in Prague after the Burning Spear concert is the premiere of the great Jamaican discovery - a singer called Jah Lil. This very talented young Rastaman (his own name Jerome Adrian Smith) enthused the reggae community at home on the island and in the world with its strong singles, sensitive connection of reggae with the influences of modern soul and RNB, as well as the great debut album CAN and Man Cry, which was released last summer under the brand Out Deh Records / Give Thanks.
The album contains ten songs that perfectly connect authentic roots reggae with modern sound and also unusually deep themes. The motivational song Above Water inspires the courage to face life challenges, while the title single Can and Man Cry shows that crying is not a sign of weakness, but the ability to perceive and show emotions deeply. Also, add more big tunes such as Step by Step, Currency Called Time, Among Monsters, End of War, Warn Yuh, Hold Corner, or even one gift, which two weeks back came out in a remix where Jahmiel hosts.
Jah Lil makes music that brings both sound and text to the reggae scene, which addresses listeners across generations. His concerts are famous for excellent administration, synergies and a positive atmosphere. Just as we brought to Bohemia beginning Chronixx, this time we warn in advance. Do not miss Jah Lila on his second European tour and Czech premiere, which is brought by Yahmusic in cooperation with Cargo Gallery. This is a ship dedicated to culture, which will be parking at the Smíchov Náplavka since the first of October. It will be an absolutely wonderful concert from the Top-A-Di-Top Events series.
Tickets will be available from August 8, 2025 in GoOut.
