Ivan Stodola: Čaj u pána senátora / Divadlo Ľahostajňa + kapustnica

Ginger? Green? With honey or lemon? Maybe plum? What kind of tea do top politicians like the most?

🫖 Tea at Mr. Senator's is a satirical tragicomedy with elements of humor, farce and fun comedy, written in 1929. Despite its nearly century-old aftertaste, it still has something to say. Has it?

🍵 The main character is Baltázár Slivka, a coffin seller who wanted nothing to do with politics. However, his wife didn't like something, and that's why, despite the initial apathy towards the political craft, he ends up where everyone knows each other well...

🦄 The Ľhostajňa Theater was established in 2018 under by the leadership of young and overly ambitious then early graduates of the theater life college. The theater managed to participate competitively in the tour of the non-professional theater of Belopotocký Mikuláš 2019 and Theater a deti 2022. They did not win either. Workshops with professional theater creators have also become a regular activity of the group, thanks to which the group grows. Like a tree or mold. In five years of operation, they have replaced more venues than they have games in their repertoire.
