About event
IVAN HLAS TRIO
A chamber group operating for some time around singer-songwriter Ivan Hlas. In the beautiful arrangements, decorated with virtuoso playing of acoustic instruments, Hlasov's songs stand out best, based on the balance of the music and the poetry of the lyrics. The musicians are no newcomers to our scene, their joy from directly transmitted music is legendary. The roots influencing the trio's music range from pub blues, urban ballads, rock and roll, to melodic names of various ethnicities. It is folk music in the good sense of the word.
In the trio, Ivan Hlas is accompanied by guitarist Norbi Kovács and cellist Jaroslav Olin Nejezchleba.
