Istanbul - čajovne, mešity, kebab aj jazz (sprevádza Dorotka)

Constantinople is cheerful, mysterious and sunny, it is both Asia and Europe, it is tea and coffee, history and the modern present. A vibrant city that is completely contemporary and at the same time all its previous versions are present in it. A real phenomenon. We will enjoy it hedonistically, eating street delicacies, washing it down with Turkish tea and in the evenings getting to know the local cultural scene. The ubiquitous mosques and cats will become an image of Istanbul for us, an imaginary photo that we will remember forever.

As with all our trips, this is not a classic sightseeing tour, where you walk endlessly around the sights, spends time in crowds of tourists and where deep and exhaustive historical interpretations are given. This "tour" of ours is also hedonistic.

We want to live. Soak up the atmosphere, taste a lot and well, taste, buy at stupid markets, touch culture and mystery, observe ordinary life and enrich your own. With a group of people who are always ready to show off.

During our trip we wander through the old city and the Sultanahmet district as well as Beyoglu, soaking up the atmosphere of the majestic mosques and their beautiful chants as they call the faithful 5 times a day from the ubiquitous minarets. We will drink hectoliters of Turkish tea in the side streets, sail on the Bosphorus, eat like a local and enjoy the views from restaurant terraces, let ourselves be pampered in a 500-year-old Turkish hammam, ride trams, be intoxicated by religious dervish dances, and the local jazz scene, we'll have dessert in the iconic hotel where Agatha Christie and passengers from the legendary Orient Express stayed, we'll in the winding streets of the Grand Bazaar, we will stuff ourselves with olives, spices, fish and kebabs.

It will be a dynamic but indulgent time.
