Iraq - a country that (probably) cannot be helped
Iraq has opened to tourists! Come and listen to how one travels through the country, which since 2003 has been at the top of the list of the most dangerous countries in the world and where the vast majority of people enthusiastically remember the era of Saddam Hussain.
Vladimír Váchal looked at this country from region of 2023 and has brought many photos that he will present to you along with his commentary. Together we will go to Babylon, Ur, Uruk and Nippur. We will look at the form of post-war Baghdad and at the holy places of Shiite Islam such as Najaf and Karbala. Come and listen to how people travel today in the country that is often referred to as the cradle of human civilization. And, of course, there will also be an obligatory bazaar where you can bargain for goods!
