The workshop conveys knowledge and tips for dealing with people with variations of the gender characteristics.

People with variations of the gender characteristics have an increased risk of mental health problems. Psychologists, psychotherapists and other psychosocial areas therefore need at least fundamental knowledge of the needs of intersex people in medical and therapeutic settings. The workshop conveys knowledge and tips for dealing with people with variations of the gender characteristics, but also deals with possible pitfalls. It is suitable for both people who hear the word "intersex" for the first time, as well as for people who already have some previous knowledge of the topic.
