About event
Famous Finnish masters of melodic death metal Insomnium announce the Beyond the Shadows of the Dying Sun tour for the 10th anniversary of the album of the same name - and with it a Prague concert. Anthems such as While We Sleep, Primeval Dark or Ephemeral will be heard. It will also be one of the few opportunities to see Insomnium again in the original line-up from the album, i.e. with Ville Friman and Markus Vanhala on guitars.
“Shadows of the Dying Sun have a special place in our black hearts. It marked a key moment in our career and took us to a new level," comments Niilo Sevänen. “We are thrilled to bring this album to life on stage in all its glory. Some of these songs we've never played live before.”
Special guest on the night will be Omnium Gatherum with their annual Beyond full-length set. Released in 2013, this sixth studio album is considered a landmark in their discography and includes tracks such as New Dynamic, The Unknowing and White Palace.
This the combo will be completed by Texas Hinayana.
