About event
If you want to study medicine, you need above all: a place to study! And these are highly sought after in medicine. More than 43,000 applicants applied again this winter semester for around 9,000 study places in human medicine. In the summer semester, the number of applicants was almost 20,000 for around 1,700 study places.
For everyone who has not yet received a place to study medicine or would like to apply in the future, it is therefore very, very important to know the procedures exactly, to explore your own chances sensibly and to plan appropriate strategies for the path to study.
That is why we are providing you with information at our information day about studying medicine for students, High school graduates, interested parents and teachers with lots of important information about
Application and university selection processes (AdH). How does the application process work at public universities in Germany via Hochschulstart? What selection criteria apply besides the Abitur grade? What role do selection tests such as the medical test and HAM-Nat play? What other improvement options and bonus points are there? How are training and voluntary services counted in the selection process?
Medical test and HAM-Nat: How to improve your chances of getting a place at university through successful test participation
Studying medicine at private medical universities. Application process, special features of the course, costs and financing.
Cooperation programs between German hospital associations and foreign universities
Medical studies abroad with a focus on Hungary and Eastern Europe including moving back to Germany.
Voluntary services, nursing internships and training (paramedic, MTA, RTA, etc.) to bridge the waiting time
Alternatives to Medical studies
Financing medical studies and much more...
In the breaks between the lectures you can find out more about specific topics in conversation with our speakers at our accompanying trade fair and get advice on starting your medical studies.
Admission is free! Registration is required.
