About event
🎷In Jazz We Trust - Oskar Török Sextet
🗓 12 November 2025
🕗 20:00
📍 Nu Spirit Bar
60 tickets - EUR 15
Oskar TÖRÖK – trumpet 🎺
Simona Hulejová – vocals 🎤
Nikolaj Nikitin – saxophone 🎷
Ľuboš Šrámek – piano 🎹
Juraj Griglák – double bass 🎻
Matheus Jardim – drums 🥁
We have always known Oskar Török "only" as a trumpeter in various formations with a prominent leader, but his playing was unmissable. The native of Humenného studied the trumpet at the Katowice Music Academy, he often performs abroad, but he also appears on domestic stages and is well known to the Liptovský Mikuláš audience. We know him from his collaborations with Iva Bittová and Beata Hlavenková, but he also used his mastery of improvisation in collaboration with the composer Vladislav "Slnk" Šarišský. Underpainting with ambient tones and dynamically felt improvisation makes him unique in every ensemble, which is why he rightfully deserves a place during the Saturday festival evening, when the concerts will culminate with his new original project. One of the voices that resonates most prominently on the current scene is Simona Hulejová - a singer who is achieving success as the leader of her own project Baron Haze and with her performance in Ľubomír Gašpar's line-up. Her presentation combines a modern approach with deep feeling and natural musical intuition.
