Imagine Arts & Ideas: Role umění jako síly společenské transformace

Panel discussion as part of the exhibition "Colour in the head: Art in dialogue" by the artist Beate Winkler.

In times of deep change and uncertainty, there seem to be almost no positive visions of the future left. Beate Winkler's exhibition project "Color in the head: Art in dialogue" wants to inspire the discovery of new possibilities to face current challenges. The panelists will discuss the role of art as a life-giving force that opens up space for new ways of thinking, creativity and innovation, and that brings beauty and joy into our lives.

Discussants:

• Beate Winkler, artist and founding director of the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights in Vienna
• Doris Rothauer, art manager, consultant, coach, expert and author, Bureau of Transfer
• Marketa Adamcová, artist
• František Fekete, artist and curator of tranzit.cz

Moderated by: Amálie Bulandrová, art historian and teacher at UMPRUM

The discussion will take place in German and Czech with simultaneous interpretation.
