HYB4 Hudba: HYBRID SESSIONS #60
Event by: Kampus Hybernská
Location: Kampus Hybernska, Hybernská 998/4, Praha 1
About event
Hybrid Sessions is a monthly event held at the Hybernská Campus. The event always begins with a shorter improvisation performance by two musicians who have never played together in such a constellation and who - ideally - come from different music scenes. The concert is followed by a jam session, which is open to all musicians regardless of genre. We want to create an environment for creative creation in the present moment, nothing is predetermined, the only expectation is a high level of being in the present. The basic backline (drums, guitar combo, PA, piano) is provided.
This time Andrea La Rose (flutes) and Jan Karhánek (synthesizer) will perform.
Andrea La Rose is an American flutist and composer who after years returns to Prague for a while, where she used to be part of the experimental music scene.
Jan Karhánek is a musician who produces his own specific electronic instruments.
Since October, we have been open to your suggestions for the composition of bands, however we still want the event to remain an experimental open platform, so we would like to avoid performances by already existing bands.
Location in KH: E.0 Hall
Admission: Free
