🎵 Behind the creation of the Hugo Kauder Trio is the effort of artists to bring closer the works of persecuted and unknown composers of Jewish origin, whose music was unfairly forgotten after the Second World War. The name of the ensemble was inspired by the meeting with the legacy of Hugo Kauder, a composer of Jewish origin who escaped Nazi persecution in the 1930s. In their repertoire, however, they also have demanding pieces of the world repertoire, which the artists can afford to interpret thanks to their exceptional technical brilliance and empathic interplay. The Hugo Kauder Trio has been active on the music scene since 2008 and has released two CDs dedicated to the works of authors: H. Kauder, A. Klughardt, R. Kahn, P. Scharwenka, R. Schumann, P. Nogradi, I. Lachner, J. Irshai and P. Juon. In 2014, the trio completed a concert tour in the USA.
