About event
Until then, unimaginable loss of life has forced warring states to organize the care of war graves during the ongoing conflict. Memorials and monuments were also created, mostly spontaneously, but also with the support of the state. What form did these reverent and commemorative places take on and after the war? What symbolism do we encounter? The lecture will present the care of war graves mainly in Austria -Hungary and interwar Czechoslovakia, but will not even help the wider context.
