Howe Gelb (Giant Sand) & Lorenzo Corti (Cousteau)

godfather Alt-country & icon of desert rock Howe Gelb (Giant Sand) will play for the first time in Prague. His work, whether solo or collaborative, is characterized by an eclectic and implemented approach, with which it combines the effects of country, blues, jazz, tex, India rock and the narcotic atmosphere of the home Tucson, all with a distinctive beating approach to songwriting. During his career he worked with a number of important artists (John Parish, PJ Harvey, M. Ward or something Case) and participated in the creation of dozens of albums. Gelb is appreciated for his unorthodox musical vision and improvisation style, which adds his music unmistakable atmosphere. The concert will present Howe's classic, adaptation of Giant Sand and some hot news.
