About event
More information about the show: https://nongarde.com/asperger-vs-wittgenstein/
We talk in a light-hearted way about the problems of communication, language and mutual understanding. Each of us has our own unique way of perception, which can be fundamentally different from the others. How to find a common language and understanding? We were inspired by the life and work of the world-famous philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein, who, according to experts, showed a milder form of autism, the so-called Asperger syndrome. Thanks to this, he looked at the world differently and noticed the differences in our understanding of the same things. How do people with autism see the world? What could he look like if we perceived him with their senses?
The production brings closer the world of people with this neurodevelopmental difference, the groundbreaking ideas and life of one of the most important philosophers of the 20th century, offers a lot of information and invites mutual respect. It presents important topics in a comprehensible form.
The presentation is followed by a discussion with the creators and psychologist Viera Hincová, an autism expert, lecturer, blogger, author of the Deti bez bez ervisik podcast, co-author of the #beznávodu portal, mother of an adult daughter with Asperger's syndrome. He has been working on inclusion since 2006 in international and Slovak projects.
