Since May, Honza has been on a concert tour with a new album and his band, which will culminate in a concert launch of the new album III in Prague.
The album was created for two years. At first listen, distinctive rock and energetic compositions, interspersed with strong vocal melodies and guitar riffs, will impress.
“It's a combination of rock music with light electronics. I put a lot of emphasis on the lyrics, which thematically touch on the dark sides that we all have inside us and our internal struggle with them. It depends on each of us whether we decide to nurture a bad or a good animal in ourselves." Singer and composer Honza Křížek describes the creation of the album.
Honza Křížek celebrates 30 years on the music scene this year. He is a co-founder of the band Walk Choc Ice, has collaborated and played with many excellent musicians, led by Ivan Král or David Koller. After that, he was the guitarist and singer of Radim Hladík's renewed Blue Effect line-up for 12 years. After his departure, he entered a solo career. In 2017, he released the debut album Honza Křížek, followed by the crossover album Revolution from 2021. As part of the music survey, Žebřík won awards in the categories Discovery of the Year (2018) and Singer of the Year (2019).
