HIROŠIMA, MOJA LÁSKA

Iconic French-Japanese film by Alain Resnais, written by Marguerite Duras, for the first time in a theatrical adaptation. A captivating love story. A gripping story about horror.

Hiroshima, my love is a poem about love, hatred and fear, but also about memory. He and She meet in a Japanese city - a French actress and a Japanese man. They have one day, during which a woman tells a story about a devastating love.

What are real memories and what are just reflections of an unlived past? In the case of lovers, the past is reincarnated into the present moment, they fall in love with each other, even though they know in advance that their love has no chance of survival.

Passion and tension in the relationship of two people and the burnt, destroyed city of Hiroshima.
Debris of people and relationships on the ruins of the city and the world.
