About event
"The Hejného method at the 2nd grade of elementary school - practically and efficiently" is a support course for teachers of the 2nd grade of elementary school. We will show you how to fulfill the standards, but at the same time not to "kill" the spirit of discovery in children. We will break down into small challenging topics such as fractions, equations, or geometry, and we will also take a closer look at the didactic specifics of second-graders. The course consists of a series of four ONLINE meetings.
Within the course, we will focus on how to use Hejné's method:
- master even challenging topics (fractions, equations, geometry) so that the students really understand them,
- work with second-graders who need not only results, but also space for discovery, creativity and collaboration,
- support students in systematic preparation for T9 and entrance exams.
We recommend the course especially to those who are already have completed courses on the Hejného method and/or use this method in practice. Participation is not suitable for those interested who have not yet met the Hejné method and do not know its principles.
Date: from October 15 to December 10, 2025 (4x90 min, schedule below)
Place: online (ZOOM)

The course takes place in real time "live", it will not be possible to view it later from the recording. It is not necessary to have your own ZOOM account, but you do need a stable internet connection and a computer with a camera and microphone (we do not recommend connecting via a mobile phone). Certificate of completion of the course:
- certificates will be sent by email within 2 weeks after the course
- the condition for obtaining the certificate is active participation in the workshops (at least 80% of the course)
