Denver's Havok returns thrash precision to Futura! They will be supported by death metal veterans Blood Red Throne from Norway, predatory Eradikated and technical Xonor. On October 1, Prague will feel the clash of old-school aggression with a modern cut.
Havok are the definition of modern thrash without unnecessary pathos. David Sanchez and his crew from Colorado don't cultivate empty nostalgia, but deliver a surgically precise, socially critical wash. From the breakthrough album Time Is Up to the complex record V, they hone a style built on lightning riffs and meticulous sonic purity that makes every break stand out. Expect a setlist packed with aggressive anthems like "Prepare for Attack" or "Give Me Liberty… Or Give Me Death", where every note sits with mathematical precision and the energy from the stage works like a high-voltage discharge.
Norwegian icons Blood Red Throne may be coming as support, but their name carries the weight of a legitimate headliner. While their compatriots mostly burned down churches in the nineties, these gentlemen have been grinding death metal of the highest quality for over a quarter of a century. Under the baton of guitar mage Død, they developed a style full of massive grooves that crush bones as reliably as the work of Cannibal Corpse. Material from records like Monument of Death or Imperial Congregation is a guarantee that the Scandinavian brutality in Futur will not budge even a millimeter. Sweden's Eradikated burst onto the scene with their debut Descendants and immediately grabbed attention with raw energy reminiscent of early Slayer cut with punk bravado. They will be followed by the technically ambitious Xonor, who add more progressive finesse and frantic tempos to classic thrash structures. Both formations prove that there is still room for the genre and their commitment will not leave you standing at the bar in peace.
