Rattle #1
Event by: Jiří Maryško, Havloids Memorial Club
Location: Theater Radek Brzobohatý, Opletalova 919, Praha 1
About event
The first episode of the talk show with a discussion on the topic "Let's abolish the communists". The Havloids Memorial Club, uniting Havloids on the same footing, organizes a meeting of all those who have accepted this address as their own and to whom even the word "truth lover" does not sound pejorative.
The first part of Havlování will be dedicated to the initiative of the November student leader Martin Mejstřík, whose proposal to abolish the symbols of communism we will confront director Jan Hřebejk, constitutional lawyer Jan Kysela and questions audience.
The evening will be accompanied by Jiří Maryško, the discussion will be followed by reporter Jakub Szántó and Václav Tobrman on piano.
Is it possible to outlaw a party that was practically rehabilitated after the revolution? Is it realistic, after 35 years, to condemn crimes that the old displaced and the young did not experience? Is it democratic to deny freedom of speech to supporters of undemocratic regimes?
You will receive answers to these and many of your questions on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 7:30 p.m. in the Radek Brzobohatý Theatre.
