About event
A one-take cinematic tour de force, Gatillero merges adrenaline and artistry in equal measure.
It’s bold. It’s intense. It’s unforgettable.
An immersive film that pushes the boundaries of Latin American cinema — and demands to be experienced on the big screen.
Winner – Young Jury Award, Fant Bilbao Fantastic Film Festival 2025
Praised for its technical audacity and immersive storytelling
One night in Isla Maciel, El Galgo — a former hitman recently released from prison — reluctantly takes on a small job as a “gatillero”: to fire shots at a storefront as a mafia-style warning.
What begins as a simple errand quickly spirals into chaos, betrayal, and a desperate fight for survival.
Inspired by real people and events, Gunman (Gatillero) is a visceral story of redemption — a gripping thriller told in real time and captured in one continuous, unbroken shot. The result is a raw, relentless journey through the underbelly of Buenos Aires, where every second counts and every shadow hides a secret.
