About event
🌿 SUSTAINABLE ON THE FIELD, ON THE PLATE AND IN THE CLOSET
Wednesday, May 27, 2026 | 11:00-18:30 | Florentinum, Prague 1
One day. Three reasons to come.
Prague's Florentinum will turn into a lively meeting place on May 27 and we will connect local farmers, slow fashion fans and everyone who wants to experience sustainability in practice, not just hear about it.
🌾 11:00–17:00 » Local farmers market
(Piazzetta Florentinum)
Come and meet directly with the people who grow, ferment, collect and produce with respect for nature. On the spot will be:
Jakub Pešek – Svobodné Hory
Barbora Žán – Broumov Cheese Factory
Martin Vašíček – Dobroty z horya
Eliška Nováková – Ze Stodoly
Cudovi farm and orchard
Jana Frundl – Henrieta farm
Martin Mňuk – professional mushroom and forest crop picker
JZT Ferments – artisanal Czech kombucha
Marmalades with a story
Mazel fruit farm
Tasting, buying directly from the source, and especially the stories behind each ingredient.
👗 13:00–17:00 » SWAP clothes
(Green Table event space)
Sustainably renew your wardrobe. Bring clothes you no longer wear and take something new. We donate voluntary contributions and unexchanged pieces to Sue Ryder charity shops.
⚠️ Bring the clothes to Green Table by 26/5.
🎤 17:30–18:30 » Green Apéro: "Sustainably on the field and on the plate"
(Green Table event space)
Informal talk show that connects the kitchen and the field. Green Table chef Miluše Makó and farmer and promoter of market gardening Jakub Pešek will open questions that affect us every day — what we eat, where it comes from and how small decisions change big things. Hosted by journalist Michael Rozsypal.
🎟️ Places are limited, reservation via the link below.
The event is created in cooperation with Green Table by Veolia, Lokálové and Florentinum.
📍 At Florenci 15, Prague 1
Entrance to the market and swap for free. Green Apéro reservation required.
