Graindelavoix & Josquin

The voices of the singers of the Graindelavoix ensemble are full of unique colors and vocal championships. The founder and artistic director of Björn Schmelzer can create a fascinating musical image from this varied palette that delights hearing and soul. The ensemble interprets and presents the music of old masters in the current way. She wonders what the music mirrored at the time of its creation and what it reflects us. After six years, the Antwerp ensemble Graindelavoix comes to us with a new program of Renaissance motets based on the theological concept of "Creatio ex nihilo" - creation from nothing. Whatever it was at the beginning of the world, we will witness the creation of perfect music from absolute silence tonight.
