Goldbergovské variácie

"An empty stage is a booth of beauty, especially on the day of the first rehearsal, when nothing has been done yet." - it sounds from the mouth of Goldberg. "So get over it." - the answer comes.  It was no different in our history. Wars, epidemics, genocides, famines, natural disasters. God created the world in his own image. So this is what God's face looks like?

The pre-Christmas premiere of the Goldberg Variations will take place in the Lab Theater, performed by the first year of the master's degree studies of the Theater Faculty of VŠMU. Georg Tábori's grotesque play about God's creation and theatrical creation is directed by student Máté Kantár. The creative team chose the allegorical play of the world-famous playwright because it balances between the profane and sacred dimensions. A "theatre within a theater" will also be created on the stage. The production is enriched with live music.
