About event
Industrialization brought growing cities, but it also divided: Living space here, green space there. The garden city movement of the 19th century promised a balance - a life that unites urbanity and nature.
Vienna tells of this pursuit in three eras: the utopian settlement of Eden (1921), the visionary City of the Child (1974) and the international model settlement 9=12 (2007). Three projects, one common goal: to create spaces that are more than just places to live.
