About event
The Moravia Brass Band organizes a GALACONCERT every year in the fall, with which it conceptually opens the next season of its activity. Horn player Radek Baborák is the soloist and conductor of 2024.
Traditionally, the concert will take place in Brno's Besední dům. The dramaturgy is adapted to a significant anniversary and focuses primarily on Czech music. The concert also includes the world premiere of the Concerto for French Horns and Brass Band by contemporary Czech composer Ondřej Moťka. With this concert, the only brass band in our country presents new arrangements and compositions and pushes its boundaries.
