About event
The interwar period brought Prague a number of exceptional residential districts. The commented walk will take you through a part of Hanspaulka and the settlement Baba - places where the vision of modern housing in the spirit of functionalism was materialized. For example, we will stop at the own house of architect Evžen Linhart, or at buildings from the pen of architect Ladislav Žák. We will end the journey in the village of Baba - an iconic colony, which was created in 1932 as an exhibition project of the Union of Czechoslovak work and which is a unique example of a comprehensive urban ensemble of functionalist villas.

And we will also recall interesting facts as the operation of the first Prague trolleybus line, which led just here and launched in 1936. The guided tour will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. By entering the event, the participants agree to take photographs. Book tickets for goout. The organizer of the event has the right to cancel the walk due to illness or bad weather with the condition of notification to participants no later than 24 hours before the event.
