An eventful history: Come with us on a tour of Jewish Vienna!
There is hardly any other city in Europe History of their Jewish fellow citizens and the rise to a metropolis of the spirit, science and the arts are as closely linked as in Vienna. 🇦🇹
This walk takes you through parts of the city center and Leopoldstadt as well as through the different eras of Jewish life in Vienna: the three Jewish communities of the Middle Ages, the Baroque period and the 19th/20th century. ⏱️
Finally, we go into today's fourth community, which shows you that Jewish life and culture is not just history, but can be felt and seen very vividly in the cityscape! 🕍
As always, there will be a cozy get-together at the end. Of course I invite you to that! Experience has shown that there is always a lot to discuss and ask after this tour. ☕
