The statue is silence that vibrates. Martin Jánoš perceives the art building as a carrier of frequencies - visible and subliminals. The author's works encounter a sense of shape, material and rhythm with fine humor, hyperbole or irony. In his sculptures he connects matter and emotion, craft and intuition. It examines the possibilities of the material, the repetition of the shape and its subsequent disruption and modification, but also the internal tension between staticness and movement. His works communicate with space in different wavelengths: some resonate silence and intimate, others spit into an environment as monumental accents.

The author most often works with materials that have their memory. Metal (of which especially bronze as archetypal material of grandeur and seriousness), wood or stone, which are not only bearers of shape, but also time. They carry physical and cultural experience - they become part of the work not only through form, but their layers, structure and energy create an internal dialogue with the author's gesture. It also combines materials, connects, creates collages and assemblage. His works can be seen as a synthesis of traditional sculpture techniques and modern exterior sculptures or sculptures. Martin Jánoš also actively participates in domestic and international sculptural symposia with works directly placed in the public space. Not linear development, but natural waves of returns, themes and shapes. His work over the past decade is frequency and is cyclically repeated, varied and subsequently changed. It can be divided into four meaning units. Personified animals, contemporary icons, intimate objects and monumental gestures - all this vibrates at its own pace.
