Admission is free, all donations for this concert evening are in favor of Volkshilfe Wien.

From the colorful, dramatic sounds of Bizet's Carmen Suite to the powerful overture to Verdi's Nabucco to Bernstein's lively West Side Story sounds and the adventurous sound worlds Pirates of the Caribbean spans a varied program that unfolds equal emotional depth and radiant energy.

The Triangle Youth Philharmonic Orchestra is the leading ensemble of Triangle Youth Music, one of the most important youth music organizations in North Carolina. It brings together highly talented young musicians in a demanding symphonic context and stands for musical excellence, committed promotion of young talent and a strong sense of community. As the official youth orchestra of the North Carolina Symphony, it has been shaping the cultural life of the region for many years.

Volkshilfe Wien is one of the largest social organizations in Vienna. She supports, advises and looks after people in all situations. With its more than 1,800 employees, Volkshilfe Wien works as a professional service provider on behalf of the public every day. Their activities range from mobile care and support, housing and homeless assistance, housing security and eviction prevention, work integration to refugee care, community work and social work with children, young people and families. More than 500 volunteers and around 3,000 members make us one of the strongest social organizations in Vienna.
