The bodyality of the materials and their limits can allow us to be present and attentive to the sensory world around us, to be patient for mistakes and differences, and at all accept imperfection and cooperation as part of reality.

We will discover the sound forms of materials and shapes at the workshop. We will analyze and empirically experience their acoustic specifics and build a resonant DIY electro-acoustic tool from the materials you brought, which we will improvise together. The workshop will take 3-4 hours and is suitable for curious and curious from 9 years. Bring the material that interests you how it sounds and resonates - the size and shape are not placed, but the best volumes to a thickness of 1 cm (1 mm - 10 mm) are best used.

The workshop will be led by Pardubice artist Manka Lustig (she/her), who is in A4 on a residence stay. In his artistic practice, he focuses on the acoustics of ceramic material, on the practice of material research and the subject of links. Artifacts in her hands explore the boundary of the living and inanimate. He likes to build sound installations, musical instruments and DIY access (do-it-yourself). She studied ceramic design at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen in the studio doc. MGA. Gabriela Vach (2024). She is a member of the team (2018), who deals with the revival of dilapidated railway buildings and organizes multi -genre artistic events. Together with Veronika Zálešáková, she is the founder of the Kopřivald ceramic studio (2021).
