In MOUTH WIDE SHUT, hybrid perspectives are heard, exclusively by female composers. Abstract sounds alternate with moments of pause and also those of irony and satire. Between beatboxing, Chinese opera and experimental vocal sounds, on both sides of the atmosphere. The soprano and extreme singer Frauke Aulbert opens her mouth - wide - to make the many female voices of today audible, including her own: fragmentary, contradictory, wild.
