In this course we build on your previous knowledge and take the next step together. The focus is on image design, motif finding and the practical application of advanced camera techniques. Be inspired by Berlin's exciting locations and master the challenges of night photography.

What awaits you in our photography course?

This course focuses on practice Center point. You will deepen your understanding of aperture, shutter speed and ISO and learn how to optimize your photos using advanced techniques. We'll show you how to read the histogram correctly and exploit the potential of the RAW format.

In addition, we dedicate ourselves intensively to creative image design and motif finding. You will learn how to make your photos more exciting and expressive through perspective, image detailing and lighting design. The crowning achievement of the course: Fascinating twilight and night photos in the streets of Berlin.

Procedure of the photography course

We start with a short theoretical review of the most important ones Basics. We then dive straight into practice. Together we explore different recording locations in Berlin and immediately implement what we have learned. In feedback rounds we discuss your recordings and give you valuable tips for optimization. Accompanying cards on the most important topics help you to read the content at any time.

· Camera technology and exposure: Review of aperture, Shutter speed and ISO, exposure measurement and corrections, histogram, RAW format, AdobeRGB vs. sRGB, manual mode.

· Image composition and motif finding: Perspective, image detail, rule of thirds, light and shadow, Recognize and use visual habits.

· Architectural photography: Shot planning, lines, depth of field, blue hour.

· Night photography: Long exposure, manual focusing at night, photography at blue hour.

Who is the photography course suitable for?

This course is aimed at participants who have already completed the first part of our Basic course Part 1 “Aperture, Time & ISO”. Participants who already know how to control exposure using aperture, shutter speed and ISO, operate the autofocus system and control the depth of field are also welcome!

If you want to expand your photographic skills and delve deeper into image composition and creative techniques, you've come to the right place correct.

· Your camera (If you don't have one, we will provide one available on loan)

· Lenses (wide angle and telephoto recommended)

· Tripod (available on loan)

· Charged batteries and empty memory cards

· Weatherproof clothing and comfortable shoes
