Formação para Facilitadores - 2tonnes

This training will allow participants to facilitate the 2tonnes workshop in the Portuguese version.

Prerequisites:

• Participate in a 2tonnes workshop

• Participate in a 30-minute 2tonne plénière of project presentation

2tonnes is a serious game in which participants try to limit climate change and its impact, as well as achieve the carbon emission measure of 2 tons per person, per year. It takes the form of a 3-hour workshop, guided by facilitators who liven up the workshop, moderate the group and use the online platform that allows simulation.

Training Content

• Master the cadence of the workshop

• Be able to animate a serious game

• Know how to use the online platform

Training format

Training is consisting of several steps:

1. Initial training (between 30 min)

It will take place on Friday, the 31st, at 7pm. It will be given by the workshop instructor and will allow you to acquire the necessary foundations for organizing and running a workshop and accessing the 2tonnes online platform.

2. Accompanied training (3h)

This 3h session is guided by a trainer. It will allow you to go into detail about the workshop animation and the facilitators' attitude, as well as sharing experiences and advice for facilitation.

3. Animation (3h)

At 2tonnes, a person really becomes a facilitator after taking action! There is no need to facilitate independently the first time, there is always the option of co-facilitating, observing or having someone more experienced accompany you.

Practical training

- The initial training session will take place on Tuesday, starting at 7:30 pm, online. Each participant will receive an invitation with the meeting link.

- The 3h training session will be hybrid. Those who are unable to be in Lisbon can participate in the training via a link to the meeting. Everyone will receive an invitation with the meeting link.

- Each participant must arrive 5 minutes before the start of the workshop and in a good mood :)
