Over ten years of successful collaboration, during which a total of seven celebrated studio albums were able to see the light of day: The discography of the indie pop duo Fly By Midnight from Los Angeles is more than impressive. And yet, above all, it is the emotions that the sound of Justin Bryte and Slayo, often referred to as retro-pop, triggers in its listeners - nostalgic soundscapes, catchy hooks and the really big emotions run through as a patent recipe from the debut album “Cover Charge” from 2017 to the present. Almost every year, Fly By Midnight enriches their fans with new works in which electronic elements or soft synths mix up the indie pop sound. “Fictional Illustrations,” published in 2023, was particularly well received and, as a conceptual work, dealt with topics such as love, insecurity and the reflection of interpersonal relationships. Songs like “In The Night” and “Infinitely Falling” have taken the indie hearts of fans and critics by storm and have taken Fly By Midnight up a notch with their sixth album. But it's not just their own music that the two Americans have attracted attention over the years - the cover of the track "We Don't Talk Anymore", originally by Charlie Puth and Selena Gomez, published in 2017, for which Fly By Midnight brought in Nicolette Mare and Nicole Medoro, also achieved strong success and continues to enjoy great popularity. So it's no wonder that Bryte and Slayo have already played the big stages of the world and, in addition to their homeland, the USA, and Europe, have also completed extensive tours in Asia. With their current album “The Fastest Time Of Our Lives”, which was released in July this year, Fly By Midnight will be going on tour again in March next year!
