Come walk around the park with Sebastian Busby and learn about trees adaptations (or lack thereof) to wildfire, and then more broadly about the role of fire in ecosystem development and typical patterns in that broader forest type. Weaved into this will be historical context (e.g., native use of fire, legacies of European colonial settlement, and contemporary forest management practices) and future expectations (e.g., impacts of climate change).
