✅ In this webinar, we will look at how students' financial, mathematical, technical and ecological thinking can be developed through practical tasks and projects.
✅ The webinar is primarily intended for teachers in the 2nd grade of primary schools. Participants will learn how to guide pupils to real technical and economic decision-making - from analyzing e-shop offers, evaluating the reliability of sources and reviews, to taking into account the economic and environmental aspects of the purchase.
✅ We will focus on the development of financial and mathematical literacy through interest, percentage, cost calculations and comparison of offers. We will show how students can use mathematical knowledge when evaluating which payment is more advantageous and what impact it has on family finances. Let's not forget the physical side of things - the relationships between performance, time and energy consumption. Pupils will learn to calculate the approximate annual consumption of electricity, compare the efficiency of appliances and realize how technical parameters affect operating costs.
✅ We will also show you how to work with real data: creating tables and graphs in MS Excel, processing results in PowerPoint or Sway, interpreting data from a physical and financial point of view.
✅ At the same time, we will also touch on the ecological dimension - energy efficiency, recycling and durability of products - and we will show how to include these aspects in teaching.
