Joseph, one of the last shepherds on the Corsican coast, refuses to sell his land, which is interested in mafia networks as part of a large-scale real estate project. His resistance is the start of an irreversible cycle of events: after a collision that goes awry, he is forced to flee across the island. Persecuted from the south to the north of Corsica, Joseph gradually becomes a symbol of resistance. While his niece Vannina continues his fight, his escape takes on an almost mythical dimension and becomes a symbol of the struggle for land and identity.
