About event
Clooney, Tarantino, Selma Hayek's legs, a Mexican bar full of vampires and three themed cocktails for you! 🌗🌵🥃🧛🏻♀️
Seth and Richie are on the run from the law, with Seth being the sane one and Richie the... well, let's just say seeing things that aren't there. They take an ex-pastor's family hostage in an RV and cross the border with the plan to dock at the "Titty Twister" bar. For three drinks. The crime scene becomes a total carving during one song, where crosses are made from duct tape and shotguns are loaded with holy water. Seth and Richie discover that there are worse things in Mexico than the feds on their heels.
🍸 Cocktail Menu
Dawn – Homemade limoncello, basil lemonade, lemon
Sanctuary – Birdy gin TOSH, Thomas Henry Botanical tonic, cinnamon, dried fruit
Blood Sai – Homemade cherry liqueur, soda, cocoa syrup, lime
ℹ️ If interested in non-alcoholic version of the drinks, write to osvezeni@kinokavalirka.cz.

About the film and the creators:
Two of the most successful postmodern filmmakers of the nineties, Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez, met at the Sundance festival in January 1992. Both quickly they agreed on a joint film. Tarantino wrote and adapted the script based on Rodriguez's comments, and cast himself as Richard Gecko, one of two brothers on the run from the law who end up in a Mexican bar full of vampires. The character of the second sibling was created by George Clooney, then the star of the TV series Emergency, which greatly complicated Rodriguez's filming. In the horror film From Dusk to Dawn, both creators clearly use motifs from vampire mythology that reach the point of absurd grotesqueness, emphasized by an abundance of bloody special effects and a darkly humorous perspective. The performances of Tarantino and Clooney as well as the representatives of secondary, intentionally one-string characters, especially Harvey Keitel (Baptist pastor who lost his faith), Juliette Lewis (pastor's daughter), Fred Williamson (muscular vampire beater) or Danny Trejo (bartender Charlie) are also subject to this.
USA, 1996, 108 min, directed by Robert Rodriguez, in the original version with Czech subtitles
