Film Discussion - Master & Commander: Far Side of the World
Event by: Downhill Film Club
Location: Gift Bar, Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard 1935, Portland
About event
For the 3rd Wednesday of September, we'll be discussing Peter Wier's MASTER AND COMMANDER: FAR SIDE OF THE WORLD. Although it didn't receive much fanfare on release, Wier's film is ripe for rediscovery and reappraisal.
Start time is 7:00, and we'll try to wrap up discussion around 8:30. After that, people tend to hang out and talk shop until late. It's always a good time.
MASTER AND COMMANDER: FAR SIDE OF THE WORLD plays at the [Cinemagic Theater](https://tickets.thecinemagictheater.com/movie/master-and-commander-the-far-side-of-the-world) on September 13, 14, 15, and 18.
