About event
Swooping over the border of life and death
He has the hair of a raven and the eyes of an eagle owl: Munk. In his dreams he sees the dead. One day Munk is kidnapped to the castle of the tyrannical griffin of Amser. While his fearless sister Enna sets out to search for him, Munk discovers a terrible secret deep in the castle hill...
Munk finds himself in the cathedral of the Kegelberg and learns that there are other people who carry the ancient legacy of birds. And that the griffin ruler, if no one stops him, not only threatens the living, but also all those who have long since died.
Wieland Freund, born in 1969, has previously written for children and young people. His fantastic novels have won numerous awards, and his stories about “Törtel” have been filmed for ZDF. With “Rodrigo Raubein und Knirps, sein Knappe” he recently completed a fragment by Michael Ende. Last year with us with his “Thirteen Fear”. The author lives in Berlin. Cooperation with Klett-Cotta Verlag.
