FALL 2026. HOPE IS A STATE OF MIND 🚀 💭 SAVE THE DATE: 1.-4. 10. 2026
The fourth year of the FALL festival – the Festival of Art, Literature and Education will take place in DOX at the beginning of October. This year, the festival will focus on the theme of hope and resilience in times of uncertainty, crises and changes in the contemporary world.
This year's motto – HOPE IS A STATE OF MIND – was inspired by Václav Havel's thoughts formulated in 1986 in his book Remote Interrogation. And this year, too, FALL will present leading international and Czech literary and artistic personalities.
The main part of the festival, which will take place from Thursday, October 1 to Sunday, October 4, is intended for the widest public and will offer discussions and readings by domestic and foreign authors, a combination of contemporary art exhibitions with literature, and workshops for children.
Sofi Oksanen, Oliver Lovrenski, Marie NDiaye, Paata Šamugia, Vratislav Maňák, Pavel Talankin, Marek Šindelka, Alberto Manguel, Adam Borzič, Marie Iljašenko and others.
The program of the FALL Festival for schools, educators and the professional public will take place from Tuesday, September 29 to Monday, October 5, 2026.
