About event
The FAL 1 course is the effective introduction for non-CMD specialists to FAL and preventive screening for medical and forensic security in symptom-free patients.
This basic course in live web format addresses the anatomical and physiological basics of the masticatory system, the centric condyle position and the current terminology in the field of functional theory.
Due to the guidelines of the DGFDT, the most recent legally binding judgments, the Patient Rights Act, the Social Security Code V and the Medicines Advertising Act, the practices in the area of FAL are subject to extensive factual and specialist constraints with a corresponding documentation requirement.
A practical functional analysis in daily practice results from target group-oriented functional diagnostics (target groups 1 to 4).
In the clinical part of this course, the clinical examination methods for “target group 1” and their documentation are discussed step-by-step using appropriate forms or the cloud-based app “CMDpro”.
For the clinical examination of target group 1, participants in this course learn the evidence-based methods of “Preventive Structural Stress Screening (PSBS)” and “Preventive Manual Structural Analysis (PMSA)”.
-
This is the first part of the CMD curriculum by Prof. Dr. Axel Bumann.
It is recommended to complete parts I-IV one after the other. However, the modules can also be booked individually if desired.
