Excursion for the public to the Karloveský arm. Introducing the “LIVE Bratislava” initiative.

We invite you to an excursion to the Karloveský arm, where we will introduce you the initiative “Live Bratislava”, which focuses on discovering the diversity of nature in our city. All you need is a mobile phone with a camera (or camera), a desire to bother and curious eyes.

Karloveské arm is one of the few flower arms of the Danube in Slovakia. The varied mosaic of the environment in close proximity to the flow creates a home of many animals. The dense growth of the floodplain forest gives the impression of a real wilderness hidden in the city. We will introduce you to the “Live Bratislava” project and show you how to easily collect plants and animal data using the Inaturalist application. iOS: Download the app from the App Store.
