About event
We invite you to an early evening guided tour led by a professional lecturer. The excursion is intended for visitors who would like to obtain information from the field of anthropology, i.e. the science of man.
You will learn interesting facts about the life of the museum's founder, Aleš Hrdlička. You will learn more about the evolution of the human race. With the exhibits, the lecturer will show you points of interest that are visible on the material even after a very long time. We will also stop by the Egyptian mummies, talk about their history and reveal the secret of their creation. You will learn what is typical for trepanation or phrenology. How does the skeleton of an ape differ from a human? Or what the Věstonická Venus looks like. So come and explore our museum collections with us!
The price of the excursion is 100 CZK/person.
Reservation required at hmc@natur.cuni.cz
