About event
Svarte Greiner (Erik K Skodvin)
Norwegian composer Erik K Skodvin aka Svarte Greiner was last introduced at the festival Jednota Neratov. The careful curator of the MIASMAH own label, otherwise half the Deaf Center and a third of B/b/s (along with Andrea Belfi and Aidan Baker), has recently found employment mainly in the field of soundtracks and music for art installations. An understandable step not only because the creation of Svarte Greiner was often criticized as a "soundtrack for a non -existent film". In any case, Skodvin is a master in evoking secret and forbidden sounds from each instrument, and he liked his fusion of ambient, specific music and off -road recordings at the beginning as "acoustic Doom". Archetypal fear and abstract darkness can capture few better. href = "https://svartegreiner.bandcamp.com"> https://svartegreiner.bandcamp.com

Mark Harwood
Where exactly ends or starts surprise, fear, embarrassment or comedy? Mark Harwood likes to explore similar questions, ideally thoroughly and long, until the boundaries between everything seem to be a childish construction. After a few moves, a native of Melbourne eventually ended up in Berlin, just like half of the world artistic community. As an interpreter (whether under his civilian name or alias Astor) he likes to focus on randomness, confrontation, spoken text, sound art and farce, and also worked with Graham Lambkin, Tim Van Luik, Matthew Hopkins (Na Naked on the Vague) or Áine O'Dwyer. Otherwise, however, it is primarily a gray eminence behind the distinctive publishers of the Synaesthesia, which ended in 2007, and Penultimate Press, where it is far from oriented only on music recordings.
