What does it look like when the Celtic past speaks with the power of metal? You will find out on December 15th at Bratislava's Majestic Music Club, where the Swiss seven-piece folk metal icon Eluveitie will perform!

Since their formation in 2002, Eluveitie have been able to combine the crushing power of melodic death metal with authentic instruments and Celtic mythology like few others. In their music, whistles, fiddles, ninera or bagpipes intermingle with hard riffs, growls and female vocals, creating an atmosphere that is unmistakable and full of emotions.

The band is led by the charismatic founder and multi-instrumentalist Chrigel Glanzmann, whose interest in Celtic culture, language and history is not just a pose, but a deep-rooted conviction. In their texts, ELuveitia bring to life the forgotten stories of the Gauls, ancient deities and lost worlds. Whether it's the breakthrough record Slania, the dark Helvetios, or more recent records like Ategnatos and Origins, it's always a musical and spiritual journey.

Live, Eluveitie most resemble a ritual. The seven-piece line-up fills the stage with both sound and energy, immediately drawing listeners into their epic world. Their concerts are not just a show of virtuosity, but a real experience that resonates long after the last note has sounded.

Achsar from Slovakia will perform as Eluveitia's support! This Slovak stalwart from Levice is known for their dynamic mix of melodic black metal and elements of folk metal, which they have been creating since 2004. Their lyrics are often inspired by history, fantasy worlds and Slovak legends, which gives their work a deep and epic dimension. The debut album Septentrionalis (2014) was conceptual, set in an invented fantasy world. The band has also collaborated with a violinist from the famous folk-metal band Korpiklaani and performed with groups such as Alestorm and Elvenking.
