About event
In the second session of The Other Argentine Cinema we will see and analyze the film "You will find me in the depths of the abyss." After the screening we will have a video call with the director to talk with the audience.
Synopsis:
A film built based on post-apocalyptic atmospheres and a decided influence of H.P. Lovecraft and even current video games, is above all an existential journey where the protagonist must put his existence to the test. Awarded for its sound design, it does not leave behind the consistency of its images and climates that contrast with a minimalist story.
We offer a cultural workshop in which each viewer can enroll in the film club made up of four sessions or in the individual sessions that interest you the most.
Each session is made up of the projection of the film that will be held in our auditorium and a subsequent dynamization by Professor Santiago Slabý. The meetings may also have online participation from their directors.
About the facilitator:
Santiago Slabý has been working in the audiovisual world for two decades, including storyboarding, graphic design, animation and post-production. He has also been managing the online space Netflix for the Poor for a decade, focused on the dissemination of unusual, interesting and classic cinema; Thanks to this medium, he has released two experimental feature films. He has also worked in teaching the History of Animated Film and in artistic teaching for children. He has lived in Prague for seven years.
Four-session cultural workshop with registration: 300 CZK
Cultural workshop for individual sessions with registration: 100 CZK each session.
The workshop will take place on Fridays, February 14 and 28, and March at 6:30 p.m.
