El hijo

Expressive solo of a Spanish dance personality.

Daniel Abreu, choreographer and performer, is a prominent figure on the dance scene in Spain. It will be performed in Slovakia for the first time. His evocative and artistic solo El hijo (Son) talks about special ties to parents and places of the past, about trying to deal with them. Through dance, he expresses his experience with the culture and environment that surrounded him. He creates images full of metaphors, tells the story of existence in the wider context of the cycles of being and nature. His dance is energetic and expressive.
